JimmyGus is a composer and writer who seeks to share his passion for music and words.

JimmyGus grew up in the hills of southern West Virginia in the 1960’s and 70’s where all styles of music were played on the local radio station. At home, he heard his parents’ LPs from the American Songbook downstairs and his brothers’ rock n roll and RnB records upstairs. This influenced his love for popular songs and developed his eclectic style of writing.
